The Nike EXP-14 was never meant to be a running shoe, some Nike bloke said. It was designed to look like a running shoe while being a casual sneaker. EXP stands for EXPERIMENT, and 14 is a code name for React foam used when it was still in the developing stages. Isn't that interesting!
