If you are still wondering which country I am from, then this could be a hint. These I my wooden shoes I dug up from the shed. My 'green' Nikes. They have had their time already. I had to repair one since it already started splitting. They have several advantages above sneakers. They come easy on and off and you don't have to do any laces. They are environmental friendly and are easy to clean. A new coat of paint does wonders. Unfortunately they are not as comfortable as my other sneakers. Very unpractical when driving a car. And running is far from fast. But walking through the snow is big fun. The snow sticks to the sole and with each step you grow higher and higher. I am glad I found them back and I'll keep them at the door. These are my flip-flops for outside. My klick-klocks.
